How would you describe yourself in 5 words or less?

Short, Smiley, Pale, Soprano

Do you have any pre-show rituals?

Yes, I have to do my 13 minute warm up tape my singing teacher made me before I go on and of course a pre-show toilet stop!

Can you tell us about the last time something went wrong on stage?

A fly flew into my wig during Elphaba’s dance scene and I flinched really badly!

What’s your favourite song in this show?

I love Elphaba’s song “No Good Deed” – such power and raw emotion.

Apart from the show you are in, what current show in London’s West End would you love to work on?

Ooh I’d love to play “Miss Honey” in Matilda or “Fantine” in Les Miserables, or if I could dance well enough “Kathy Selden” in Singin’ In The Rain!

What West End show would you like to see make a comeback and why?

I love Miss Saigon, the music is just so beautiful I would definitely watch that if it returned. Or the stunning West Side Story.

What was the last West End show you saw (apart from the one you are in) and what did you think of it?

I saw Singin’ In The Rain and it was wonderful. Such a beautifully designed show and a really feel good way lovely way to spend an afternoon. It was funny watching those in the stalls get splashed from my seat in the dress circle!

What’s your favourite West End musical song of all time?

Hmm… probably ‘I Dreamed a Dream’. One of the most beautiful songs ever written.

Thank you for taking the time to have Tea with Wilma
