For those who may not be familiar with you work, can you tell me about yourself and some of your career highlights?
Hey! I’m best known for being on the BBC One show Any Dream Will Do. One of my biggest careers highlights was getting to play the part of Joseph 4 years after the show…. and doing my own concert tour.

You are about to embark on a UK tour of the all male HMS Pinnafore after a successful run at London’s Union Theatre. For those who may not be familiar with the show, can you tell me what it is about and what people can expect if they come to see it.
It’s set in the 1940s about a group of sailors on a navy ship.. That one night when sitting around decide to put on a production of HMS Pinafore… So guys become woman and sing with beautiful soprano voices… And I take on the character of Ralph Rackstraw who falls in love with the captains daughter Josephine… If you haven’t seen this all male production it’s a must, just something so beautiful and different… And if you love opera and HMS pinafore you need to come see it brought into a 21st century feel.

If I asked your friends to describe you in three words, what would they be?
I was texting Lee Mead when I was reading this… So asked him he said!
Focused , fun , keeeeeeeetey!!!

Are you much of a sailor yourself? Do you think you would have held up well on HMS Pinnafore?
I’m Not really a big sailor no… But I think I could have held up well with the fitness side of the pinafore yes.

Do you have a favourite Musical Theatre show or song that means a lot to you?
I love Phantom Of The Opera, it was the first show I ever saw and would be my dream to one day play that part.. Seen it 15 times… Phantom Geek!

What has been the funniest or most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you on stage?
When I was Joseph… I one day forgot to put my pants on under my loin cloth… Let’s just say think the front row saw to much!

Which of the stops on your UK tour are you most looking forward to? Does anywhere hold a special meaning to you?
I was looking forward to Hackney really… I have heard such great things and now I’m performing on the stage I see why!
