Ariadne the WAG

IMG_8135The hilarious Ariadne the WAG stole the show at last years WAG the Musical. Next Friday she returns to the Charing Cross Theatre for a new series of Friday night cabaret shows! I caught up with Ariadne to have a chat about this new show and just generally about how fabulous she is!

Can you tell me about yourself and your career highlights to date?

Darling Wilma, ofcourse you already know me because I’m very famous but I will play along with you! I am Ariadne and people call me a WAG (this stands for Wonderfully Attractive Goldigga!…)

My career highlight was ofcourse starring in the West End in the fabulous ‘WAG! The Musical!’, I was also voted Thessalonika’s Woman of the Year 2013…it’s a big deal in my village, besides goat of the year it’s our main event!

Tell me about your new cabaret show  and what people can expect if they come to see it.

Wilma… it is a delicious and decadent late night romp into the world of Cabaret at the gorgeous Charring Cross Theatre! Hosted by me and my gorgeous, half naked (ofcourse!) WAG HAGs Carlos and Stephane…and featuring the crème de la crème of the international Cabaret world! We have amazing headliners such as Abandoman and Ida Barr, along with Burlesque, Circus and so much more. It’s on for only four Fridays at 10pm starting next Friday 17th!

If we asked your friends to describe you in three words, what would they be?

Only 3 words, that is so hard because I am something of a linguist…I know..Fabulous! Fabulous! Fabulous!

If you weren’t having Tea With Wilma right now and were in the pub, what would be your drink of choice?

Pub? What is a pub darling? I think this is where old men go to talk about…other old men? we will go to the Ivy bar for a drink or ten…a crystal for me…if not a moet, but make sure it is cold….oh dear now I’m thirsty – lets go Wilma!

Do you have a favourite Musical Theatre show or song that means a lot to you?

‘Fabulous Baby’ from Sister Act, because Glenn Slater and Alan Menken
(or Slatey and Menky as I call them) met me at a bar in Monte Carlos and the night we had together inspired that song…I’m not saying any more!

Who is your biggest inspirational WAG?

My biggest inspiration is myself Wilma –  l try to be my best self everyday, and if I don’t feel up to it, I have a cocktail and lie down.

Thank you for having Tea With Wilma

Thanks Wilma!
