ALISON JIEAR announces a solo run of performancess from 26th August 8pm, 27th August 8pm & 11pm, at London Hippodrome while simultaneously launching her crowd funding campaign on Kickstarter.
Alison Jiear launches her Kickstarter crowd-funding campaign for her new album Inspirational with three solo performances at the London Hippodrome, following her triumphant turn on ITV1’s Britain’s Got Talent that brought all four judges to their feet, with David Walliams hailing “A Star is Born” and Simon Cowell declaring she gave “one of the best vocals we’ve ever had on the show”.
Ali received a Laurence Olivier nomination and over a million YouTube hits when she created the role of Shawntel in Jerry Springer: The Opera and released the dance track I Just Wanna Dance which became a popular floor filler in clubs and Pride festivals internationally.
Alison’s latest one woman show INSPIRATIONAL will certainly make the audience feel at home as she taps into the many artists and composers who have inspired her over the years. From Ella Fitzgerald to Dusty Springfield and composers such as Burt Bacharach, Joni Mitchell and Stephen Schwartz, Alison will also be performing material from her upcoming album.
Supported by her 4 piece band, Alison is sure to put her own unique twist on each piece whilst ensuring an evening of first class music making.
Alison also appears in Three Little Pigs at the Palace Theatre on tour, on Friday Night is Music Night on BBC Radio 2 on and at the St James Theatre this Christmas on 14th December 2015.
