Take a look at what’s coming up in 2018 on the London theatre scene

Girl From The North Country plays at the Noel Coward Theatre until 24 March 2018 before Quiz, the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? scandal opens 31 March and runs until 16 June 2018. Poldark star Aidan Turner then makes his West End debut in The Lieutenant of Inishmore 23 June – 8 September 2018.

Heisenberg: The Uncertainty Principle is currently playing at the Wyndham’s Theatre until 6 January. Long Day’s Journey Into Night opens 27 January and plays until 7 April 2018. Alfred Enoch and Alfred Molina will then star in Red from 4 May – 28 July 2018.

La Soiree continues at the Aldwych Theatre until 3 February before Tina: The Tina Turner Musical opens on 21 March 2018.

At the Phoenix Theatre, The Exorcist is running until 10 March 2018 before Chicago returns to the West End for its 21st anniversary, 26 March – 23 June 2018.

Annie is playing at the Piccadilly Theatre until 18 February. Strictly Ballroom the Musical will then play from 16 March 2018.

Rat Pack – Live from Las Vegas  is running at the Theatre Royal Haymarket until 3 February 2018. Frozen starring Suranne Jones and Jason Watkins then opens 9 February and plays until 5 May 2018.

At the Vaudeville Theatre, Lady Windermere’s Fan opens on 12 January and runs until 7 April 2018 (Directed by Kathy Burke). An Ideal Husband then runs 20 April – 14 July before The Importance of Being Earnest plays 20 July – 20 October 2018.

The Birthday Party, starring Zoe Wanamaker will play at the Harold Pinter Theatre 9 January – 14 April 2018

Mary Stuart transfers from the Almeida Theatre to the Duke of York’s 3 January – 31 March 2018. Then 5-24 April The Moderate Soprano will play.

The Ferryman continues to run at the Gielgud Theatre until 19 May 2018, when it will make way for Sondheim’s musical Company, starring Patti Lupone and Rosalie Craig from 26 September – 22 December 2018.

An American In Paris is set to close on 6 January at the Dominion Theatre. After a limited run at the London Coliseum in 2017, the Meatloaf musical Bat Out Of Hell will open 2 April – 28 July 2018.

Other notable opening around London include Chess at the London Coliseum 26 April – 2 June 2018 and Fun Home at the Young Vic from 18 June 2018. Also, Kelli O’Hara and Ken Watanabe will star in The King and I at the London Palladium from 21 June 2018
