Get to know London’s new Elphaba ALICE FEARN …
With today’s fantastic news that Elphaba Standby, Alice Fearn will play the role full time in Wicked from 24 July 2017, I thought I would take a look back and the times I have met and seen Alice, so you can get to know London’s new Elphaba better!
Back in 2015, Alice Fearn was starring as Nancy in the Watermill Theatre production of Oliver! Check out my interview with her from back then, when we talked about the show and her dream roles. Click here to read the interview
Just last month, in April 2017, as part of my mission to help bring understudies to the forefront of theatre and give them the credit they deserve, I went to check out Alice as the Elphaba standby in Wicked and was blown away with her performance giving her the title of my favourite ever Elphaba (which is a huge thing to say). Read my review of Alice as Elphaba here Needless to say I am over to moon that she has been announced to play the role full time from July 2017.
Earlier this month, Alice played her own Cabaret show, Live At Zedel and I caught up with her to chat about what people could expect at the show. Watch the video interview below
Alice also played my fun, quick-fire question game Knowing Me, Knowing You. Have a watch!
