Creative Chicken Media create beautiful hand-drawn, hand-painted watercolours of all things musical theatre. So when they approached me and asked if they could draw my mum/Wilma, I was delighted to let them have a go at putting her on paper. The result was so lovely, they have created a huge selection of items you can buy with the design on.
From hoodies, t-shirts and tank tops, to tea towels, drinks coasters and cushions there is a huge variety of West End Wilma items you can buy. And the best thing about it is, Creative Chicken Media will donate 20% of everything sold to my favourite charity, the National Autistic Society who help to create accessible performances of theatre shows so everyone can enjoy the beauty of theatre.
So why not buy yourself a phone/tablet case, a greeting card or even a watch because every item sold goes toward helping a great cause.
Based in Glasgow, UK, Creative Chicken Media are a Husband and Wife team. Christopher Rowney is an English musical theatre actor and musician, having also worked in the corporate side of West End theatre as UK Sales Manager for Encore Tickets Ltd. Allison Rowney hails from Austin, Texas, and is the main talent in this partnership as the extremely accomplished watercolour artist. Allison also works in the film and television industry.
I’d like to say a huge thank you to Creative Chicken Media for thinking of me and asking to create this range of merchandise. I am delighted to be supporting the National Autistic Society for this cause.
Oh, and today is my mum’s birthday and so what better day to launch this collection. Happy birthday mum! There’s a little something with your face on it in the post making it’s way to you!
