Christina Bianco shot to fame in 2013 with a YouTube video of her singing Bonnie Tyler’s hit song Total Eclipse of the Heart (in the voices of 19 different divas), which went viral online. To date, her hilarious videos have totalled over 21 million views making her something of a star! After a string of sell-out shows at the Hippodrome Casino a couple of years ago, Christina is back with her show Party of One, giving audiences an insight into who she is and how she got to where she is today.
Not only does she have an incredible voice, she has everyone else’s too! From Kristin Chenoweth, to Amy Winehouse, Christina’s vocal range knows no limits and can impersonate just about anyone. Highlights for me were Drew Barrymore, Kiera Knightly, Julie Andrews and Cheryl Cole but watching her put Christina Aguilera to shame by out-performing her incredible voice was incredible to watch too.
Party of One is different from Christina’s last show Diva Moments and focuses more on Christina’s life and history which is nice as the audience gets to know who she really is. If you saw her last show though you won’t be disappointed as some of Christina’s favourite parts are back in this new show.
Christina made her West End debut last year in the musical theatre spoof show Forbidden Broadway (a show she has also starred in on Broadway). In August this year she will be taking her Party of One up to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Fingers crossed we will see her back in the West End soon! She might be small but her personality and voice are huge!
