Discounted tickets released under GET IN TO LONDON THEATRE Initiative

giltBooking has opened for Get Into London Theatre 2017, one of the theatre industry’s longest running audience development initiatives. Since 2002, London’s biggest and best-loved shows have offered tickets from £10, £20, £30 or £40 and this year Get Into London Theatre will run from 1 January to 10 February 2017.

With more than 50 participating productions, ranging from plays and musicals to dance and opera, Get Into London Theatre represents the full range of extraordinary shows on London’s stages.

The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan showed his support for the initiative saying “Get Into London Theatre means that you can enjoy the best the West End has to offer, at a great price.” In July, casts from across the West End showed their support for the Mayor’s #LondonIsOpen campaign.

Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, said: “Culture is in the DNA of our city and there’s nowhere on Earth that can rival London for its fantastic theatres. Get Into London Theatre means that you can enjoy the best the West End has to offer, at a great price. I’m delighted that over 50 shows are involved this year – from blockbuster musicals to thought-provoking plays, captivating dance performances to entertaining family shows, there’s something for everyone, showing that London is open to all and bursting with creativity and imagination.”

Caro Newling, President of the Society of London Theatre, said: “At the start of each year the theatre industry comes together to celebrate the world-class theatre being performed on stages across London. Get Into London Theatre encourages audiences to experience this, try something new and start a life-long love of theatre.”
