Hunter 486, located within The Arch Hotel, London is open all day and serving guests and non-residents heavenly food and drink in a casual, relaxed atmosphere, it features gleaming leather booths, blown glass chandeliers and imaginative artwork. It’s also the perfect place for celebrity spotting as the queen of pop, Madonna, lives directly opposite the hotel.
I visited the restaurant back in 2016 and was delighted to be asked back this week to check out their Express Menu!
I tried the Jerusalem Artichoke Soup with a Mushroom Brioche, Roasted Barbary Duck Breast with lentils, braised chicory and a spice jus and the Clementine Creme Brulee. I’d never had an artichoke before but the soup was lovely and went well with the brioche. The duck was incredibly well cooked, crispy on the outside but still slightly pink and moist on the inside, some of the best duck I’ve ever had! And you can’t go wrong with a creme brulee which went well with the fresh clementine.
With two courses for £19.00 or three courses for £21.00, Hunter 486 is well worth a trip to Marble Arch for.
