To celebrate Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts’ 70th anniversary Elaine Paige, the first lady of British musical theatre, will be talking about her career at the London Hospital Club on Thursday 30 April 2015.
First winning a Laurence Olivier Award for her role as Eva Peron in Evita in 1978 Elaine went on to create the roles of Grizabella in Cats and Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard. In 2014 she celebrated her 50th anniversary in show business with a gala performance at the Royal Albert Hall supported by a choir of Mountview students.
