WORTH A FLUTTER is a hard-hitting comedy that explores maleness in working class upbringings, love and loss as we follow Matt and Sam as they compete for Helen’s affections. We see the dark and tragic past of four broken characters to understand what has lead them to this point and how they try to move forward.

Based on the writer Michael Head’s experiences as a younger man ‘growing up’ in South London, this gritty comedy explores flawed characters as they deal with issues such as domestic violence, the breakdown of a marriage following the death of a child and growing up in a single parent family to a mother with mental illness.

Worth a Flutter runs at The Hope Theatre from 1st May to 19th May 2018.
