REVIEW: 108 Brasserie launches ‘Breakfast on the Lane’

Set in the heart of Marylebone, 108 Brasserie offers a truly local all-day dining experience with modern British dishes that are designed and prepared by Executive Chef Russell Ford and made from the finest locally sourced ingredients and seasonal produce.

The idyllic terrace which is lavishly adorned with green foliage, provides a tranquil spot to sit back and absorb the morning rays while indulging in the most important meal of the day. The canopy offers shade to the 32 covers and patio heaters ensure that guests can enjoy their alfresco dining experience whatever the weather!

The new breakfast menu carefully created by Executive Chef Russell Ford presents a twist on traditional breakfast favourites and will be available from 8am – 11am daily. Highlights include; Sweetcorn Fritters, avocado, grilled halloumi, smoked red pepper & tomato relish (£12), Avocado on Toast, chili flakes, grilled plum tomatoes (£10) and Buttermilk Blueberry Pancakes (£9) also available with streaky bacon (£11). Other highlights of the menu include Toasted Banana Bread, ricotta, caramelised pecans (£8) and Chia Porridge pomegranate, toasted coconut (£8).

I had a three egg omeleete with ham (£9) with a side of crispy streaky bacon (£3). I also tried one of their signature juices, a vitalising, energising wake-up blend of Mango, ginger, carrot and apple (£5.5/£7.5).

108 Brasserie is a peaceful setting for a relaxing breakfast, tucked away in Marylebone. The food is nice and has the feeling of an up-market hotel restaurant.

Breakfast on the Lane is served daily between 8:00am and 11.00am. Tables are allocated on a first come basis.
