Sheila Simmonds is a good time girl from Woolloomooloo, Australia who is partial to worthers originals and home shopping channels. She may look slightly like a man but I’m sure that’s just a case of growing up on sunshine and Fosters in New South Wales.
Back at the Leicester Square Theatre Lounge for the Christmas season, Sheila is performing her brand new show, Sheila’s Christmas Cracker. A comedy cabaret with a new hunky dancer (who’s name changes every time he is mentioned) and more hashtags that you can shake a stick at.
At tonight’s performance Sheila recorded her first ever Podcast with special guest and star of Bad Girls Vicky Alcock, which included a special interview and sneak peak of a scene from the new series of Birds of a Feather (which Vicky is starring in).
Christmas games are a plenty with Sheila’s Generation Game, Guess the prize from the pound shop and an audience participation sing-a-long of the Australian version of the Twelve Days of Christmas.
Having seen Sheila’s previous shows I am delighted to say this is her best one yet, complete with choreography, roller skating and all her classic hits including The Old Pound Shop In Croydon and Disco.
If you are looking for a couple of hours of entertainment this Christmas and aren’t afraid of a bit of audience participation, head along to Sheila’s Christmas Cracker, leave your shyness at the door and enjoy this festive show of fabulousness.
