Legendary Theatre actress Thelma Ruby, who at ninety one years old has given her whole life to the world of theatre has been coaxed out of retirement by The Kings Head Theatre to tell her life story.
Thelma, who has starred in shows such as Fidler On The Roof (1984, Apollo Victoria Theatre) and Cabaret (1968, Queens Theatre alongside Judi Dench) will star in THAT’S ENTERTAINMENT as part of the Kings Head’s Festival 46 programme.
A theatrical account of Thelma’s varied and exciting life in the theatre will be told through captivating stories, songs and sketches from her career.
THAT’S ENTERTAINMENT WITH Thelma Ruby plays at the Kings Head Theatre on 24th and 31st July at 1.30pm.
